Gender plays a pivotal role in determining health outcomes, and in Pakistan, the intersection of gender and health presents unique challenges. These challenges are deeply rooted in social, cultural, and economic factors that affect access to healthcare, health-seeking behavior, and the overall quality of health services. This paper examines the disparities in health outcomes between men and women in Pakistan, with a focus on gender-based barriers in healthcare access, the impact of socio-cultural norms, and the role of government policies. It also explores the economic challenges women face in obtaining adequate healthcare and the influence of gender roles in shaping healthcare systems. Finally, the article discusses potential policy reforms and strategies to address these gender-related health disparities in Pakistan.
