This article explores the underlying factors contributing to high maternal mortality in Pakistan, such as inadequate healthcare infrastructure, lack of skilled birth attendants, socio-cultural barriers, and the impact of poverty. It also examines the current strategies being employed to reduce maternal mortality, including government programs, non-governmental organization (NGO) initiatives, and international aid efforts. Furthermore, the article presents potential solutions to enhance maternal health care in Pakistan, such as improving access to healthcare, enhancing education on maternal health, and strengthening healthcare systems. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of maternal mortality in Pakistan and offer recommendations for future interventions
