The aging population in Pakistan is rapidly increasing due to advancements in healthcare and improved living standards. This demographic shift presents both challenges and opportunities for the healthcare system. This study aims to assess the healthcare needs of the aging population in Pakistan, examining issues such as healthcare accessibility, the burden of chronic diseases, and the availability of specialized services for the elderly. The article also explores the social and economic factors that affect healthcare provision and suggests strategies for improving elderly care in Pakistan. The findings emphasize the need for comprehensive healthcare policies that address the unique needs of the aging population and ensure equitable access to healthcare services.
