Traditional medicine has been a cornerstone of healthcare systems in many countries, particularly in Pakistan, where indigenous healing practices continue to play a pivotal role in the treatment and prevention of various health conditions. This paper explores the integration of traditional medicine into Pakistan's healthcare system, focusing on its history, current relevance, challenges, and potential benefits. With an emphasis on the use of herbal remedies, acupuncture, and other holistic treatments, this study also considers the regulatory frameworks that govern traditional practices. The paper discusses how these practices complement modern medicine and addresses the growing interest in alternative medicine within Pakistan's medical community. Additionally, it presents a comparative analysis of traditional and contemporary healthcare systems in Pakistan and suggests ways to improve the integration of traditional medicine for better health outcomes
